At Context & Muse, we build tools and perform operational analysis that respect the proprietary nature of your business data. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle, store, and protect information collected through our website, general inquiries, and when you choose to use the Signal diagnostic service.
1. Information Collected
We collect information directly from you when you submit an inquiry through our contact forms or engage us for analysis. This includes:
- Contact Information: Your name, email address, and business details.
- Files Submitted: Operational records, sales mix data, discount records, and check history that you choose to upload or share for a Signal review.
- Payment Information: Standard billing details processed securely through our payment provider.
2. Submission Boundaries
Context & Muse does not require or intentionally collect cardholder data through Signal uploads. Payment-card information, customer Social Security numbers, passwords, medical records, or other sensitive personal data should not be included in operational export files submitted for analysis.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your information solely to deliver the services you request, including:
- Performing AI-assisted operational analysis and generating your Signal diagnostics.
- Responding to questions and custom consulting inquiries.
- Managing billing, subscriptions, and customer service requests.
4. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell client operational data, use it for advertising, or use client-uploaded records to train generalized Context & Muse models or third-party AI models.
5. Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers where necessary to deliver our website infrastructure and tools. This currently includes:
- Vercel Inc. for website hosting and serverless request routing.
- Formspree Inc. for secure contact form transmission.
These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their respective functions and are subject to their own data security obligations.
6. Encryption
All data transmitted to or from our website is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We utilize industry-standard storage mechanisms to protect your operational files against unauthorized access.
7. Retention
Uploaded source files are ordinarily removed from active working storage within 30 days after delivery of the final review findings, unless continued retention is necessary for an active ongoing engagement or explicitly requested by the client.
8. Deletion Requests
If you wish to request the immediate deletion of your contact records or submitted operational files, please email us. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 48 hours and will confirm when deletion is complete.
9. Security Practices and Incident Response
We maintain appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect customer records. In the event of a verified data breach affecting your information, we will notify you at your registered email address within 72 hours of verification.
10. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all underlying records, database exports, and operational files provided to Context & Muse.
